Junior Achievement of Northern New England is an amazing organization which Linear Air is proud to support. Junior Achievement has programs in place at schools across the country to help students get ready for success in the workforce. I was personally involved with Junior Achievement (JA) back when I was in high school in Louisville, KY. I won’t reveal exactly how long ago that was… but suffice it to say I have JA to thank for igniting my entrepreneurial passion.
Earlier this month I attended the 10th Annual Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame dinner. We celebrated local students and inducted businesses and organizations, including the Boston Red Sox, into the JA Business Hall of Fame. It was a wonderful event, as always, with a very dynamic and entertaining auction. Our ‘Manhattan Getaway’ weekend was among the top items auctioned!
