Kansas City, Missouri, is one of the many iconic representations of the American melting pot culture in the U.S. This famous city is home to some of the most distinguished museums in the entire country. Kansas City’s origins date back to early 17th century America when French fur traders arrived via the Missouri River and built their cabins along the banks of said river. In the early 18th century, Frenchmen from St. Louis, MO, traveled along the Missouri River to trap furs and trade with Native Americans.

Visit the Gateway Arch. At 630 feet, the Gateway Arch is the world’s tallest arch and tallest human-made monument in the Western Hemisphere.
