Try stand-up paddleboarding over those giant submerged boulders that you see in all the Instagram pics or spend an evening with friends at one of the world-class restaurants found around the lake. Or relax after a day of skiing with a glass of wine before a roaring fire at a log cabin-inspired resort.
More than 2.7 million people visit the Lake Tahoe area each year, making it a favorite summertime retreat as well as one of the best skiing areas in the United States.
